zFiler is the key Server Software running on a Main CIM-Data Server. Multiple databases are supported. Several utilities are included within zFiler to help manage the database, system and network security, anti-virus protection, EDI communications, and backups.

zFiler - High-Performance, High-Reliability Database System

* Manages up to 1TB of data.
* Minimizes disk space with automatic record
   compression.
* CRC Protection on records protects against data
   corruption
   caused by hardware malfunction.
* Internal consistency checking guards against
   hardware data retrieval malfunctions.
* Internal caching maximizes transaction processing
   speed.
* Account Locking is fully implemented using high
   performance conflict tables.

* User licensing is per workstation - each user can

Backup Manager

* Sets up multiple timed or manual backups.
* Automatically copies to separate partitions and to
   offsite backup servers before running NTBackup.
* "Knows" CIM-Data Software directories, helping to
   ensure reliable backups of all CIM-Data data.
* Supports DAT, AIT, Travan, DLT, CD, DVD, USB Drive
   and other backup media.
* Optional, automatic log off of users when backups
   start.

CIM-Data Windows™ Security

* Creates standard CIM-Data Users and Security
   Groups.
* Runs zFiler under an administrative account to
   manage backups and write to the Application Event
   Log.

Communications Manager

* Schedules CSIONet connections for transmit and

Administration Password

* Limits access to key zFiler functions when the server
