What can Screen Resolution do for you?

Deploy CIM-Data on existing legacy monitors, or on large flat screen LCD monitors. Give your users the option to use easier-to-see low resolution monitor settings or power users high-detail resolution with more information on each screen of data.

Example Screen Detail
	800x600 Resolution * Excellent for old 14" and 15" CRT monitors. * Faster refresh for terminal server users. * Convenient when users have multiple    applications up on their screen at once. * Reduced eyestrain.
	1024x768 Resolution * Quite viewable on both 15"/17" CRT and    LCD monitors. * Reasonable refresh speeds. * Good general purpose display.
	1280x1024 Resolution * Excellent on 19" LCD monitors. * Gives the maximum amount of data per    view * Reduces scrolling and sub-tab selection. * Excellent for demanding users that want to    work fast.

Compatibility

* Most current video cards will support all three resolutions.

* Most CRT monitors will support all three resolutions but may be too small physically
   to run higher resolutions.

* Many 15" LCD monitors max out at 1024x768. Most 17" and 19" LCD monitors can handle 1280x1024.

* Most laptops can only handle 1024x768 or 1280x768.

To test changing your resolution

* Right-click on your desktop background and choose the properties tab.

* Click on the Settings Tab.

* Adjust the Screen Resolution slider and click Apply.

* If your screen fails to display, it should return to normal within 15 seconds.
