CIMViewer2 December 2005
The new version of CIMViewer has been released with some important new features, including:
Considerable research and background work has been completed on CIMViewer2/DocFinder over the past year. The new directory structure supports a Windows directory on the server (or elsewhere) for each account plus sub-directores for each risk. Both images and any other type of document can be stored and retrieved, including Word, PDF, and Email files.
Whereas CIMViiewer is used for saving, viewing, printing, and emailing images, DocFinder is used for saving, viewing, emailing, and printing other types of documents by using a standard Windows Explorer interface that is rooted at a Client Account.
CIMViewer permission
levels are set within VCIM User setup and are easy to understand.

An important safety feature of using
CIMViewer/DocFinder is that all hard files are saved in one place in the
network and back up can be controlled using Backup Manager in zFiler.
To make it easier to evaluate how CIMViewer/DocFinder can be used, offices that do not have the CIMViewer/DocFinder license can use it fully for any account that starts with “TEST” such as “TEST000”. Setup help can be found in System Administrator Help.
