How To Temporarily Disable a Backup.

During the Xmas holidays, if no one is present to change backup tapes, your server will have displayed backup errors for your return. This is normal!

If you wish, you can turn off backups while you are gone, so no backup errors will be there when you return.


For Filer, go to the Menu Bar and Click on Backup | Backup Times and Options Setup…
Un-Click the days you will be gone.

 

For zFiler, go to the Menu Bar and Click on Backup | Backup Manager… Un-Click the days you will be gone.

 

Don't Forget to Re-Click the checks when you return!!!
