Boeckh Evaluator Replacement

Marshall & Swift (the people that took over the Boeckh Evaluator) have decided to replace the Boeckh with their own RCT product. Until now, CIM-Data brokers could use the Boeckh in their system courtesy of licensing arrangements via CompuQuote.

As of January 1st, 2003, there will be no further updates of the Boeckh factors available, and in theory, the Boeckh system as it is in CIM-Data will no longer be accurate.

RCT is substantially different from the Boeckh and will operate differently. We are currently negotiating with Marshall & Swift to incorporate RCT into CIM-Data in a similar fashion to the old Boeckh Evaluator. CSIO and IBAO are also looking at a new product from the US to be used by the Insurance Portal. No final decisions have been made at this time.
