SERVER:

Create Runbpi shortcut and edit shortcut properties by adding switches:
D:\CIM\BIN\RUNBPI.EXE :modemport=COMx :baud=xxxx
Give this shortcut a distinctive name, e.g. Runbpi-modem

Home User PC:

Copy file cimpcw95.exe from server to floppy diskette. This file is located in directory: D:\cim\bin .
Create directory CIM in your home PC. Copy file cimpcw95.exe from the diskette to CIM directory.
Create shortcut to this file and modify shortcut properties by adding switches:
C:\CIM\cimpcw95.exe :port=COMx :baud=xxxx

Example: :port=COM2 :baud=57600           (check the modem properties for baud rate)

To run remote CIM session:
1)      Runbpi-modem must be open on the server (in the office)
2)      Double click on cimpcw95 shortcut on your home PC
3)      Type in: atdt’phone number’   e.g.  atdt3456789        (you must know the phone number of the        modem line in the office)
